• Exfoliate and Shave: Exfoliate your entire body with an oil-free scrub 12-24 hours before your appointment, focusing on rough areas like elbows and knees. Shave at least 12 hours before your tan to avoid irritation.

  • Skip Lotions and Deodorants: On the day of your tan, come with clean, product-free skin. Avoid applying mositurizers, perfumes, deodorants, or makeup.

  • Wear Loose, Dark Clothing: Choose dark, loose-fitting clothes and avoid tight items or jewelry that could rub off the tan.

  • Wait Before Showering: Allow your tan to develop for 8-12 hours before your first rinse. Use lukewarm water only for that first rinse and skip soap and shampoo.

  • Pat Dry, Don’t Rub: After rinsing, gently pat your skin dry with a towel

  • Moisturize and Maintain: Keep your skin moisturized daily to extend the life of your tan. Avoid hot baths, pools, and saunas for the first 24-48 hours.

  • Long-Term Care: Continue moisturizing and use a gradual tanning lotion if you want to keep your glow even longer.
